Background of Monique Lhuillier

The designer Monique Lhuillier was born in the Philippines, but has been based in the US for most of her life. She started designing as a teenager, attending college at a school for fashion design in Los Angles. After some of the guest at her wedding left their business card in hope that she would design their wedding dresses, the ball started rolling. Shortly after that she launched her company.

That way the gown will be good as new, and hopefully perfect, when the time comes to pass it on.
